Default 9's on a stock longblock?

Stay tuned! Kinetic Speed Shop is happy to announce that they will be making a run for the 9 second zone with our 05 #016 Saleen. We are happy to announce that a procharger F-1 is on the way and we are confident that this will be the ticket to success for us. Saleen makes a great product but there is just not enough power there to get us in the nines.

Stock block with stock internals, stock heads with cams crossed fingers, and superb support from Diablosport. This will happen at NMRA in Joliet on July 27-30!

Ohhh trust me it will. It's gonna blow really big and I will post pics of the aftermath. I just want 1-pass in the nines. After that we will put a built motor in it.

It would be great if you could get a pass in the nines, the only problem is that you will only get so many chances to pull that off without breaking' anything. How much does the stang' weigh?

The Saleen weighs 3000 with driver and fuel and water. I have been very lucky we have only wasted a tranny. The rest of the car (besides the motor) is pretty much bulletproof to 100rwhp. I am not really worried about anything but the bottom end.

Have you tried spinning that blower faster? It will make around 24 psi. I'd like to see what you can do with it at 20 psi. BTW, who is gonna drive this 9 sec ride? He'll need a racing license. O, and BTW, when you want the very best #'s out of it, let me drive it.

No way! at 16psi the car loses 20 hp because of heat. The factory intercooler will not keep up. If you can make 24psi efficiently with a Saleen t/s prove it.

Both my driver and I have NHRA licenses. This is nothing new to us, just the '05s are. Very best #'s, that is the best number buddy.

That much boost and 9.8 - 1 compresion and short duration cams you WILL grenade the thing. The cylinder pressure will be absolutely nuts. It's going to detonate like crazy. I see pistons failing, maybe a rod or two. Have fun picking all the bits and peices off the track.
I wish I had the cash to play around like that.
