If I crave that style of rear quaters I'll just drive my 70 Mach. It's amazing how they started off with the retro look of a 67/68 and yet the car keeps picking up styling ideas from the 69/70 fastback models. Fang performance even sells the 69/70 style hood.

As a follow up, you can get on the mailing list at sales@qpponline.com website is qpponline.com There is nothing on the website about the new car but there is good info in general. The magazine article said driving was a PITA as far as visibility in the rear quarter is concerned but everything else awesome. It is not a new Ford bodystyle, it is also not a body kit you can buy, the company is tooling up to produce the rear hind quarters (out of aluminum/steel if I recall correctly). It is sinister in a good way, my opinion, the company got it as close to perfect as possible on the first try. While we are on the subject, NOTE TO FORD, don,t freak up the 05/06/07 bodystyle!!! Do not rice it up, do not make it freaked up aerodynamically to save a nats a$$ drag coeficient. Take a look at the original mustangs, look at the subtle changes year to year and GO Slowly or if you must make a radical change copy from the original designs (like Mach 1 styling).

The other thing I'm not too big on is how the rear panel is recessed. It makes the tail lights look kinda weird. I wish they would have just left it stock and put the ducktail flowing into it.

Eh.. I like the elimination of the rear 1/4 windows.. and the ducktail.. thats about it. Dunno but the rear end just looks way too wide compared to the front. Dont like the recessed tail lights either. Also.. way too many lines, you can see where they put the new fenders over the old metal. Doesnt look good IMHO
