That was on my list of possible colors but I went with the vista blue instead. The low saturation (I think the lowest they offer) gives it more a reserved look but still not as conservative and the tungsten.

I was ambivalent between Vista and Windveil and I would have bought either. I found a Windveil that had everything else I wanted 1st.

I started off thinking yellow, then vista blue, then grey, then I was convinced about black. Now, I think windveil.

Except for the color black, those are the same colors I was interested in. When I got to my dealer ready to buy I was actually open to any of those colors, as long as it was a 5spd. Turns out they only had a Windveil Blue in a 5spd, all the other colors were automatics. I was pretty sure that I wouldn't be able to wait the 2 months to order and probably wouldn't have been able to decide on a color anyway. So I went ahead bought it then and there, and have not regretted the decision once.

The windveil blue looks alright, I like the sonic blue better myself, but I dunno... just, theres so many of those color cars on the road.. I was set on getting black but then when I thought about it... there are TONS of black, blue, red and yellow mustangs out there. In all the time Ive spent on this forum I think Ive seen 3, maybe 4 people that have the satin silver. I have never seen another satin silver 05-06 in person yet. On my drive to work every day, I usually see.. 3-4 different 05-06's and they are all either black, red, windveil blue or the dark blue. I dunno, I guess silver is just not a popular color but personally I LOVE it. With the black interior it looks sexy as hell. Hopefully Ill be getting black racing stripes someday and itll look even better. But hey if you like the windveil then thats cool, after all it is YOUR car.. just.. I suggest you dont "set" yourself on a color... I did that and I almost made a msitake and got a color I wouldnt have been happy with. What I suggest you do, is keep your mind open to all the colors that you dont HATE and then just go to the lot, look at the cars, sit in them, test drive them.. and take the car that makes you feel the best. You WILL be drawn towards one particular car on the lot (at least if they have any decent selection) and once you find your baby... youll know.

Just my 2 cents....(or is it 2 pence?)...
Haha, pence until July 17th, then I'll be in the land of the free and the home of the brave. Actually it's only the excellent exchange rate right now that allows me to be looking for a brand new one - hence agonizing over colors!

Is your tungsten grey pretty much stock because I'd love to see a few pics if it is - my brother swears it will be classiest color; my brother thinks it'll be boring; and I'm just 100% undecided!

Tough smugh the color looks great if you like it, and I do!

Thanks for posting the pics!

I love how it still looks reflective and not too flat even in dull light. Your car looks really classy for sure.

here is a Bright day and a Normal Day

It really is to each his/her own because I don't like the gray ones at all. But that is why they come in so many colors, because everyone is different.

I love the color. It looks classic. I'll take some picks this weekend and post them. One of the things I like best about this color is that it seems to be rare in my area. Every 05-06 Stang that I see in my area are either black yellow or red. Mostly red. The Windviel blue really stands out, and looks a little retro. I love it.

Please do take some pics - thanks very much. I like the fact it looks retro too - after all, if I didn't want retro I wouldn't buy a Mustang, so I may as well go all the way and have one that really shows the heritage as much as possible.

Look forward to seeing it...

When I bought my car I didn't have any particular color in mind. I found this one on a lot and decided to buy it after seeing most of the other colors already. In the garage under the lights it almost seems to have a pearl coat look to it. Here are some pics.
Thanks!

And this looks especially superb. I think Windveil Blue just cemented itself as the number one choice!

To me, manual gearbox is a lot more important than color too. I sort of wish the dealer I was going to use also had a smaller choice so I couldn't spend hours debating with myself about which color to choose - (un)fortunately, he has V6 manuals with Pony Pack, IUP, and dark charcoal interior in nearly every color...hence this thread and my agonizing! I'm not surprised you didn't regret your decision once - it looks amazing.
