Default Windveil Blue...

Windveil blue is now the color I'm tending towards!

I started off thinking yellow, then vista blue, then grey, then I was convinced about black. Now, I think windveil.

SO...

PLEASE POST ANY PICS YOU HAVE OF WINDVEIL BLUE - DIFFERENT ANGLES, DIFFERENT LIGHTS, WHATEVER. The actual car I'll get will be a V6 with Pony Pack, but I can get a good idea from other models' pics.

Also, any thoughts about the image this color gives as well please. I want it to look fairly retro, but also classy - and not too feminine either. Is this the right color?

I know I can rely on you guys....

Just my 2 cents....(or is it 2 pence?)...

I had a metallic light blue '66 coupe, and when I decided to pursue getting a Mustang, Windveil was the color I wanted, as it was a close match to what I used to have. Once we got on the lot, we noticed two things about it.....one, that it was not the same color, it is much lighter, and looks even lighter in the sun than the shade. And two, even though the car is my wife's the Windveil didn't seem as "tough" to her as the Tungsten Gray she wound up getting.

Back in early 05 when I knew I HAD to have this car, I was convinced I had to have Windveil Blue, and I still really like the color.......
But for some reason, I happened upon a lot that had several colors lined up. The Mineral Grey was parked right next to the Windveil......And the results are below....
If I was buying one now, without seeing the Orange in person, I believe it would be Tungsten Grey, all the way....

here is a Bright day and a Normal Day

It really is to each his/her own because I don't like the gray ones at all. But that is why they come in so many colors, because everyone is different.

I love the color. It looks classic. I'll take some picks this weekend and post them. One of the things I like best about this color is that it seems to be rare in my area. Every 05-06 Stang that I see in my area are either black yellow or red. Mostly red. The Windviel blue really stands out, and looks a little retro. I love it.

When I bought my car I didn't have any particular color in mind. I found this one on a lot and decided to buy it after seeing most of the other colors already. In the garage under the lights it almost seems to have a pearl coat look to it. Here are some pics.

The Windveil Blue you have to see in person to really appreciate. I've never seen a picture that does it justice, I didn't like the WB until I saw one in the parking lot at my bank, that sh*t it nice.

I think doing the exterior mods (scoop, pony grill insert, wheels, and larger rear tires) have added to the color and has given the car a much more aggressive look.
