Has anyone bought one of the Mustang decals on ebay that cover the upper brake light. You can also get them custom to say whatever you want. Look good in pics, but wondered..

I bought one which reads Mustang GT. The decal is nice enough, but it needs some trimming to fit and I chose not to put it on.

 

I bought one off ebay it needed to be trimmed a bit but it was ok it looks nice except the lens has writting on it so the sticker looks bumpy where it covers the writing. theyre cheap enough by one if you dont like it take it off

 

I noticed that too, that the writing and the place where it's molded in the center might mess it up. It depends if that is where the letter is. I want a custom one and would spend a lot more for one that wasn't just a throw away possibly. I call my car "Sally" and I want that. Silly, but that's me...

 

Has anybody tried to put the decal inside the lens? I took mine out of the deckid to see if it was possible. If my memory is correct, the lens is two pieces that are held together by plastic tabs. I chickened out and didn't try to split the lens because I was afraid of breaking it.
