I wouldnt make it completely drag. what fun is a car if you can only drive on a track? Im not knocking on what others do with their drag cars, but I like to actually drive my cars everywhere I go. With that said, a nice combo of show and go, but a SC for sure.

I would make just a very nice fast street car for daily driving or so.
That is where I am heading. High 12's or better. Might do a supercharger if high 12's isnt fast enough. Stiffer sway bars. Maybe some Konis and maybe springs eventually. A little extra bracing. Very little body mods. Maybe louvers. Nice sticky tires. A touch louder exhaust. Little nicer stereo eventually.
Big GT-500 brembos up front.
To me, I can take an old something and make a nice fast drag car. I dont need to bucher a new mustang if I get the bug to go drag racing. Same with road course racing. If you are serious the last thing you usually start with is a brand new car unless you have deep pockets.
