Default 2007 Mustangs

Dealership in Naperville, IL on Rt. 34 has a nice stock of 07s...
Black GT/CS, Alloy, a Tungsten grey with the apperance package, and a couple of V6s with the pony packages...

1. I believe in parts being functional. Even tho, the hood scoop looks better in person than in the pictures.
2. The painted side pieces on the front lip of the CS were not sanded before being painted. The center is not painted and is the black plastic. The outers are just painted with the body color gloss.
3. The CS rear bumper is SWEET!!! Its the almost flat plastic in the center for the diffusers. It looks very nice.
4. The almost ghost CS stripe looks very nice on the black CS. The interior looks good with the two tone seats.
5. Although not as old school looking, the carbon IUP gives the black interior a meaner look. It has a different pattern than the straight lines of the silver IUP.
6. The Alloy is almost making me reconsider the Grabber.
7. The Pony spoiler looks nice. It also is better looking in person than the pictures. I thought it looked like crap in the pictures, but its nice.

Before anyone starts the stupid smilies, I took pictures, but it was at night. I will try to get better pictures.

The hood scoop does look better in person well thats good because i want the engine cover and that package is a money saver from the factory..
And you also liked the new alloy color, i am waiting to see one in person if you have any pictures please post----- thanks

I was driving down the highway and saw the familiar GT front end on a transport truck heading in the other direction. The only problem was that it was a different color. By the time I realized it was Alloy, it was too late...

Hiboost - thanks for the info. I live in the area and went down to the Naperville dealer to take a look for myself. I have a 07 GT vert on order, and the Naperville cars are the first 07's I've seen in person.

My observations are:

1. The hood scoop looks ridiculous. That is what I was thinking based on web photos, but in real life it looks like they really did use Elmer's glue to put it on.

2. The salesman was comical. After he pointed out the black CS vehicle, I asked him if it was an 07. "Lemme check" he murmurred as he went to the sticker to find out.

3. The CS is sweet. I did not order the CS package because I personally do not like stripes on a vehicle. But the black GT/CS stripe on a black vehicle looked great. It really does look like a ghost stripe. And the two tone interior - parchment (tan) and black - looked great. In some web photos I thought it looked over done, but in real life it looks fantastic. Leather seat quality was impressive. The black GT/CS vehicle was hot.

A picture would be nice. I live in a small town and who knows when we will see our first 2007 Mustang. Would like to see the new Alloy Grey if possible.
