Default Zex kit (please read)

I realize that there is a nitrous section and I already made this post and have not gotten any replies after 3 or 4 days. So I bring it here now.

I am thinking about ordering the Zex kit for my 05 Stang GT. I am wanting to take every precaution in this nitrous setup in order to be as safe as possible.

It comes with a WOT switch and the fuel management unit.

I was wondering if all window switches are universal and if so are they difficult to setup?

Thanks

Go to TMS and hit up Cleveland. OR...to the "other" site. He is on there too. Also Blazing Saddles ( George ). They are the two gas junkies.

I have very little experience with nitrous personally so it's probably best to get some info from guys who have used it on this car.

BTW - feel free to post this stuff in here. Nobody goes to pipes boost and juice anyway LOL.

from what i have heard, the racers kit has everything you need to keep your engine safe under the additional load. i know for a fact there are several sixxer that have experience with the zex kit i know rygenstormlocke utilized the zex kit on his and had great results

Most window switches run off of the "tach" wire or the "coil" wire on older carbureted engines. I am not sure there is an equivalent on our engines.

Keep in mind that there are many options other than the Zex kit. They put everything together in a fancy looking package, but if you throw away that fancy purple "cover", the Zex kit is no different than a standard kit from NOS or Nitrous Express. I would look around and see what other options are out there.

I ahve run a zex kit with my 98 gt,loved it..It uses tps voltage and the purple box does help you when bottle pressure is not the greatest.I still have my complete kit and might throw it on the new 06??I recommend BMN nitro controller and it comes with the relay you will need for the zex. Also it is a good thing to have a fuel safety switch as well.

yes we have a coil wire... it is what my raptor shift light runs off of and it's dead accurate!
