Default Shattered Window..........

Angela, girlfriend/owner, at work, she parked Bruzer on the street. Same spot she parked in everyday. Upon walking out the door, Viper 791vx goes off. She looks outside and her driver-side window is shattered. [sm=jawdrop.gif] Luckily, the tint held it together. She opened the passenger-side door, a few pieces of glass were on the seat and floor. I was getting off of work and heading home when I got the call, turned around and went straight there. NOPD female cop stated it could have been from a rock or something. Keep in mind, the place where it was penetrated, was pretty deep. But not deep enough to break through fully, even with the tint (or maybe the tint saved it from going all the way through). However, Angela has a feeling some random jealous sob did it.

With all of the window shops in town, back open again, best place/highly recommended is Safelite. Earliest they can install it would be late Saturday afternoon. I'm calling some friends tomorrow, maybe we can find someone to come over and install it by tomorrow evening. Also, keep in mind, Sunday we are leaving to go on vacation. 3hr drive to Destin, Florida, can't wait! Oh ya, Safelite quoted $200 installed/warrenty.

Sucks...........I'm more then sure this has happened to plenty of people. Including myself, many years ago........

I saw the window , I thought it was scratches from the window tint problem. I turned the corner and drove by, didn't get a real good look at it. I thought it was really messed up, didn't realize it was from being shattered though. I was in there around 12:20 so probably out around 12:50 or 1:00 pm at the latest. SAorry to read this happened to her car. Hope yall enjoy Destin.

Ya, thanks alot dood. She said it happened around 5pm. The alarm went off and she ran outside to see. Safelite is doing the install tomorrow at 2! Llocation on Labarre Rd, almost right off the Earhart Expressway.

Coincidently, she does have the scratches on the tint. Sucks. We need to get a 05-06 stang group together in NOLA. So far, I know of 3 different owners plus you, Angela, and Nikki = 6!
