Need to get oil change at dealership?
I am looking to get my first oil change. Do I need to take it into the dealer for warranty reasons or can I take it to a local oil change shop?
Would rather avoid the dealership unless I have to due to modifications.

NO- AS LONG AS YOU KEEP ALL YOUR RECEIPTS FOR YOUR MAINTENANCE RECORDS YOUR FINE.
IF THE DEALER EVER ASKS BECAUSE OF A WARRANTY ISSUE YOU GIVE THEM COPIES OF YOUR
RECEIPTS- MAKE SURE THEY MATCH YOUR CAR,VIN,AND YOU. I KNOW THAT SOUNDS DUMB BUT
IT IS IMPORTANT.
