Yeah I had my black 2001 in San Antonio and it was quite a sauna when I hopped it it during the summertime after sitting in the sun. I can hardly imagine in Arizona. The military sent me on 6 "lovely vacations" to Saudi Arabia. Almost all the cars are white over there...

The hoodpins are Ford racing from Jegs. There is a thread on this forum on pin installs, but after I already drilled holes in my radiator header I found the bolts to be about 1/2" too short. I spent a couple of weeks trying to find a good spacer, but ended up taking my cutoff tool to an old bedrail that was sitting in the garage and made some mounting brackets. I think if you mount the pins at the edge of the hood, you probably would not need to do this, but i like where mine are.
