What's wrong here?
Take a look at my stripes that I had put on today for $150... see anything wrong? Well check out how they slant up above the lower grill.... Is this right and can it be fixed?

RE: What's wrong here?
and to quote Baltimore Street Mods:
They slid em too far under the grille.... normally they would go down and under the lower grille.....

So, that was no help.

RE: What's wrong here?
One question. Did the place ( or person ) that did the install do it from a pre-cut kit? Or did they do it from bulk material?
Reason I ask is because if it was a pre-cut kit, it almost looks like they might have put them on the wrong side, i.e. the left one on the right side and the right one on the left side. That is why they would slant like that as they go over the curve in the bumper. And also as the previous person stated, they didn't align them with the bottom of the bumper worth a flip. Yea, I would be kinda pissed.

WOW... I think I know what they did though.. they measured the amount they would need and they cut the vinyl straight off, they didnt cut it at a curve. They bottom of the bumper where the vinyl would end is curved not straight across.. so instead of ending up flush it ended up like that... heres a diagram if ya dont get it.

RE: What's wrong here?
yea, I think they are upside down, the slant is supposed to form around the top and not the bottom if you'll notice... anyone have any ideas of what I can do? Luckily, I have a second pair of stripes for that section but with license plate cutout... think I should take those off and have the cutouts put on and just put a license plate on? or can these stripes be fixed?

RE: What's wrong here?
Stripes are cut out for the license plate? Are you sure the "second set" you have isn't for the rear bumper? Vinal kits usually go around the license plate in the rear because it is easier than fighting all the wrinkles out covering the inset where the plate mounts.
