Default HELP WITH HOOKING UP!

I HAVE 8PSI S/C, 3:73 GEARS. NEED HELP WITH GETTING TIRES TO HOOK UP ON LAUNCH. I READ THAT LOWER CONTROL ARMS WORK. WHAT ELSE DO I NEED? TRAILING ARMS? DO NOT WANT DRAGS, I DRIVE IT DAILY. SHOCKS? I WILL BE INSTALLING THE METHANOL/WATER INJECTION THAT WILL ADD APROX. 50 MORE HP. SO I REALLY NEED TO GET THE TIRES TO STICK. THANKS FOR ANY HELP!

Hello Blown...

You could always try americansingles.com... HA HA... just kidding...

I am sure you will get some help here, but you should also post in the Street/Strip section.
https://mustangforums.com/forumid_29/tt.htm

Also - - - Please type in "Proper Case". You will find some users annoyed at people who type with the cap lock key on!

Good luck!

I put BMR LCAs and relocation brackets and it did not improve anything...especially the wheel hop when boost comes in 1/2 way through 1st gear.

SO WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND THEN? DRAG SPRINGS? ADJUSTABLE SHOCKS?

I'm waiting to wear out these P-zeros so that my wife will submit to some sticky BFGs in something wider than the stock 235s.
In the meantime, I will work on launch RPMs and feathering the clutch till I get something acceptable (Of course, nothing but tires will fix mid-RPM issues.)

Well, I am N/A, but putting down some strong #'s, so here is what I did. It was a process, but this is the combo that has given me 1.69 60' times on street tires.

Steeda 3 point torque box braces
Steeda adjustable 3rd link set to a pinion angle of 3.8 degrees
"race" version adjustable LCA"s and panhard bar at stock length
BFG KDW2's at 25 to 28 lbs depending on track conditions

With this combo and a good launch, it sticks like the tires are covered in Velcro.

TURN OFF CAP LOCKS!!! J/K [8D]

Musiccity, like I said before, your times rock!
Are you footbraking an automatic with your launch?
With a stick it is hard to shock the drivetrain without going up in smoke or breaking something.
I had a 70 torino with a 460 and a C6 automatic. It pulled real strong with slicks doing the footbrake thing.

Your 3rd link set...is that the same as the upper control arm?
