Roush Louvers do not put any holes in the body. There are 3 brackets for each side of the car, the brackets attach to the car with 3M automotive trim style tape, then the Louvers screw into the brackets. Just means if I want to take mine off all I have to do is remove 3 screws from each side, clean the windows, and screw them back on. As far as permanent removal, it would be any more difficult than removing emblems or trim from a car, heat it up a little peel the automotive adhesive off, clean and wax. No holes, no paint damage. Period.

I stand corrected... although I've read, and saw on a TV show, that the early models maybe, were riveted/screwed to the body. Having a bracket to clean the window would be nice.

Dude,

before you go talking SH$T, maybe you should research the topic before you go giving advice that is nowhere near correct.

The roush louvers do not DRILL into the body, or leave ANY permanent holes.

There is nothing worse than people coming on this forum and spouting off about something they have no clue about.

Dude, before you snap a gasket why don't you read my reply. I already mentioned that I stood corrected. I did in fact see a show where they were doing Roush mods to Mustangs as well as the Focus, and on the Mustang I did in fact see them PERMANENTLY attach the louver via a screw/rivet. I'm not some dumb@ss punk coming in here to talk ****. Relax!

What about the adhesion promoter on the paint? Thats my only reservation about Roush.
???? The Roush instructions say to use it and it can damage paint. Is it needed if the area is well cleaned before hand?

The adhesion promoter should be tested in a small hidden area before applying it to the area of the car where the brackets atttach, just like when using carpet cleaner, leather cleaner, etc, to make sure it does not doamage the paint in any way. I tested mine on the inside of the trunk under the carpeting, I wiped it on and let it sit for several hours and there was no damage to the paint at all.
