Well I would suggest the basics,
SCT2 tuner and Cold air intake
Axel back Mufflers
3.73 Auto 4.10 Stick Gears from Ford <--least amount of whine
Under Drive pulleys
Thanks about 2K and you can do all of them your self at home execpt the gears but you should check with your dealer and see if they will give you deal on installing all of it for you at one time or atleast the UDP's and the Gears, and if they install it they seem to have a better attitude about fixing things later down the road.

Thanks Jeremy,
I would have to disagree the sound you get from the CIA and Mufflers will give you pleaser everytime you start your car not worth giving up, people already know the Mustangs fast.

Hmm what would I do with $2K?
I'd save $4K more and install a S/C.... OH wait we did that!
I'd buy new wheels and tires.... shoot did that too!
I'd spend 1/2 that much and get new springs and struts.. Damn did that also!
Hmm what else can we do to our 06 vert?
(there are some really nice body kits out there but I really like the super sleeper look we have going.)
Ok to actually add to this thread:
I think the best bank for our buck we did was the Tokico D-spec struts and Eibach Pro spring kit. (<$1K installed) It Handles SO much better then stock! It showed me that our first set of aftermarket tires were not good enough once the suspension was dialed in so I had to upgrade tires and wheels again!

What you you eventually looking for? Do you want looks, handling or speed? $2,00 spread across all those will give a little of each, but $2,000 spent in one direction would make a big difference.
