I dont think it matches the contour of the body lines. It is hard to make a precise opinion when its laid up against a wall and not on the Mustang. I have to agree with the others though, I dont care for the fin look at all....
Submit a photo of this hood in place and we can provide more details for you. Thanks!

==Fully Functional Cobra R22000 hood==
Can you describe how it will function? If the gills are the air inlets, I'm not sure how the air is going to get from there all the way over to the airbox. It looks like it will be even less effective than the shaker setup, and that has been shown to only give 1 or 2 hp increase.

The key point for the grills is 2 fold. One make the item functional. This came from many discussions from people within SCCA. As this model is based off of the original Cobra R2000 setup and the popular model of this hood being functional.
As it might have been good to explain, in picture 1 that middle part of the hood is a removable panel allowing the hood to become fully functional. Much like this example.
This is why the vents are open on the topside. With the lower panel removed this allows a release of the under hood pressure to be relieved, which has been an issue with the new mustang. Heat ventilation and pressure build up while at higher speeds. Hope that makes some more sense.
Tres Wright- This is the proto of a functional cowl hood, not a ram air hood. Pressure and heat release is the key aspect here.
And I'm waiting on paint from Dupont so i can send it off to Kustom Klassics in Michigan to get worked on before woodward cruise.

Will you be parking in mustang alley at woodward cruise? If so I'll see you there.
