About how long of a wait do I have for my 07 on order?

Just a sec, the order number I'm pulling out of my **** says 4 weeks....

When did you order it, did you ask the dealer how long since they don't have to pull the order number out of my ****?

Nice one... I was told 8 to 10 weeks but I was curious as to what peeps here have seen so far.

Ordered mine on 7/10 and told approx 6 -11 weeks. Takes longer for Manuals and popular colors.

i know a sgt emmons.... did you go through ATC school a couple years ago?

I had to wait nearly 12 weeks but then I ordered mine back in early April and they didn't start building '07s until June 5.

Ordered on 6-19 and told 8-12 weeks.

Ordered in early April - picking her up today (7/18) - although like Chip said they didn't start building them until early June.

A lot of us have ordered cars on here...

and one fact stands out for sure... the dealerships have no freaking idea what-so-ever as to when your car will arrive until a couple of weeks before it is actually slated to be built.

Until THAT time - the dealership knows nothing.

Now.. the dealership does have limited power to control if the car gets made sooner or later. but not in definitive terms.

I was told 6 weeks which would put it here any time now. It depends on the priority your dealership gets. Some are able to get high priority and receive orders in around 6 weeks. Others get low priorities and it takes more like 3 months. The priority depends on the dealership's standing with Ford (IE, how much volume they do).
