Thats right, they finally got theirs. It came in solid red, and is alreay sold. The customer wanted white stripes though, so the dealership was putting them on when i got there...pretty sweet.

If I were dropping that kind of loot on a car though, screw vinyl, those stripes are getting painted on.

I thought the same thing when I saw the vinyl... what color stripes came on the car? like the red and white[sm=smiley20.gif]

Did you get any word as to what they paid for the car?

the car came in solid red..and the guy that bought it wanted stripes so they put them on...that just shows me he knows not the true value of the car, and isnt a big mustang enthusiast...cause he so ruined it by putting vinyl on it. I dunno what he payed, but im sure it was a pretty penny

the smiley shaped lower grille reminds me of "Lightning McQueen" from the "Cars" movie. I prefer the downturned lower grille of the commoner's GT.

Yes I am rationalizing that my commoner's GT is superior to the GT500. Just let me run with it......

I have been preaching this for months. I still say the GT looks 10 times better up front. I think they really bastardised the GT-500 interior. And I still say the weight is a joke and performance is lackluster.

But in liu of the above. I would take one for 35-40K right now. But no more.

Even if I had the money I think would wait on the next SVT mustang to drop(if SVT hasn't totally folded). I haven't seen it up close but a blown 5.4 and six-speed doesn't justify a 45k sticker just to get marked up another 10k.

the car is cool, but the prototype was much hotter...aww well whatcha gonna do, atleast they gave owners somehting they can work off of to make it their own.
