While at FFW Norwalk, I took advantage to save on shipping and get some MRT hood struts. They are way better than my ProLift hood struts, that kept turning and getting loose. And the MRT’s are farther back, so it’s out of the way when someone is working on the car.

Looks good. How much and how easy to install?

 

They were 125 if I remember correctly. I did the install in the pits at FFW Norwalk, took about 20 minutes. Way easier to install than the ProLifts. One of the best mods you can do IMO. Especially if you are doing a lot of under the hood work. Great for car shows as well.

 

Did you have to do any drilling for those or do they just bolt on to the hood?

 

No drilling required they are strictly bolt on. I also have a set and love them.

I did not like the way the other brand stuck out so far into the fender and on top of that you have to drill.

Great units.... 5 minute installation with just a 10mm wrench. Just have someone with you to support the hood as you bolt them on.

Highly recommended.

Just ordered mine for my 07 and the got here yesterday. The UPS guy asked me if i had a mustang b/c he recognized the MRT logo on the shipping box and we talked about mustangs for about 10-15 mins hehe
