I got my Corsas second hand from a friend and I'm very pleased. They sound ok and reserved in the car but last week was the first time i got to hear them from OUTSIDE the car......just awesome!

I'll be buying the Magnaflow Magnapacks next month for myself. They seem like the only ones that keep the stock note just make them louder, which is what i'm looking for.

I got the flo-pro axle backs on my car, and I love the sound. They have 4" tips as well. They sound really deep at low rpm's and aren't too loud but defiently noticable.

I just installed the MRT axle back exhaust on my '05 V6. Obviously I can't compare to what the GT would sound like, but man I love this exhaust! It sounds great!

Oh great, i just purchased some. If they are obnoxiously loud I'll be selling them on here soon i'm sure.

ORIGINAL: 6xStang

I just installed the Ford Racing/Borla's on my mustang. I really like them, but they are loud and there is some "drone" at certain speeds. The drone is not bad or annoying nor does it bother me....but it is definitely there.

I have Corsa's on my GM LS6; Corsa's are a much more reserved and "touring" sound at most speeds, but when you stomp on it they wake up. No drone ever, period.

Both are great mufflers. The Borla's are much louder and more "muscle" sounding than the corsa's at normal driving speeds, though both can set off car alarms in a parking garage. The Corsa's are more reserved and probably more mature sounding (I'm gonna get flamed for that one I am sure). It's all personal preference. I like them both. The Borla's are a good fit for the mustang for me, and the LS6 is in a caddy CTSV so "a little more reserved" works quite well for that car.

I'm just hoping that the Borla's don't make me a target for law enforcement; I got enough headaches.

I have the Mac's and they are a good low pitch. In my Vert they are louder, but not a LOT louder like the SLP's.

You better be right Jim because I just bought them. I'm a dairy manager by trade so I know what butter sounds like!

for SLP loudmouths, they just seem like mandrel bent piping
cant anyone just go to a muffler shop and have them bend 3" piping to get the same effect?
