my rims stick out!

my rims stick out!
Well I thought I would put my rims off my ranger I just sold on the mustang. I had planned on selling them to someone and getting some 18's for the mustang, but I figured I could atleast burn up the tires a bit since he doesn't want the low profile look. Not only do they stick out a bit, but the calipers are almost touching the spokes of the rims! I've seen plenty of rangers driving around with mustang rims, i guess the offset is a bit different though.
Anyway here's a picture of how much wheel well gap you'd have if you used a 235/45/17 on a stock height GT.
Those rims are supposed to be shine.

Yeah, i just wanted to see how they looked. I only have tires on three of them anyway, one tire was shreaded by a huge nail at 70mph. I'm supposed to sell the rims to someone I work with to go on his Mazda truck, but he'll be putting 255/60/17's on them. These rims are much closer to the caliper than my stock rims. I'll try and take a picture tomorrow.
Atleast I got to find the lug wrench and see the 185/60/17 spare tire in the trunk. What's that lug wrench made out of? Feels like some super light space age alloy.

The stock bullits are also really close to the calipers. So, were you just seeing if the American Racing torques would fit and burn a little bit of rubber with them?

Hey thanks! Common knowledge is common to those with common interests. This will help me incase my co-worker doesn't come through, i could sell them to 94-04 mustang owners as well as a few other vehicles.

Rangers use the same offset as 94-04 Mustangs, it is common knowledge that S197's have a different offset.
