Seatbelt buzzer
It can be done. I did it on mine but it is a bunch of steps, to many to remember for me. The steps to do it are in the owners manual. You can disable the drivers and passenger side separately. I only did the drivers side. You turn on the key but don't start then wait like a minuet for the seat belt light in the dash to go off, then click the belt in and out like nine times, then I forgot the rest of the steps but look it up in the manual.

The best thing about that arcane process is that you have to do it every time you start the car, because it resets itself.
Then my wife pipes up, "why don't you just fasten the seat belt first, then sit down?" I need a good answer for that, quick!

Seat belts save lives...
Seat belts save lives...
As someone who was a passenger in his buddy's 1975 Mustang when he totalled it ... breaking a telephone pole in two places, and knocking all the bark off the side a large tree in the process ... I can say firsthand that seatbelts are a good thing.
The car was dead on the scene. We walked away unhurt.
I totaled out a 70 model mustang in 1973,a 2 1/2 ton truck came just to the drivers side of center, head on as he crushed and broke the motor off and proceeded to stuff it into my seat I dove into the passenger side ,I was torn up and had several surgeries to repair internal problems, had I been belted in I would not be here.Granted seatbelts save lives but in my case it would have killed me.
I was a passenger in a Bronco II that was totaled when a uninsured Illegal alien made a left turn into us at an intersection. (100% their fault and they tried to sue us what a Joke, Southern California who would have guessed[:@]) I kissed the windshield with my face but I was very fortunate only to get a minor cut on the chin. From that day on I have always worn a seat belt and consider myself very lucky. I did disable my seat belt warning but not the passenger side as a reminder to them. I have an automatic response in my brain to put my belt on and the alarm is annoying but please buckle up everyone!

Because in 99.9% of the time your seatbelt will save your life in event of a crash.
