It's listed as red, but it looks burgundy. The only red colors I know of are torch red and redfire metallic clearcoat, but both are much lighter than this.

Here's another one. This one is listed as the redfire, but it also looks burgundy, and I own a 97 mustang in redfire, and have seen several 05-06 redfires and they are much lighter color than this.

the first one is redfire. my neighbor has the same color. i cant tell the second one, poor lighting on the car

Ok, here is one listed as redfire. Note the how this redfire is much lighter. This is the same color as my 97.

So why do ones on top look burgundy? Lighting? Burgundy is such an ugly color for a mustang.

the top ones are what it really looks like...unless there is the sun hitting the car directally

if you are looking for a red color, look at torch red

So they have changed the redfire color since the older models? I have a 1997 redfire metallic clearcoat Mustang and it looks more like the GT I posted above.

Does anybody here actually own a redfire car? Is it really burgundy looking?

- I tried to find a torch red, but there are none available at my pricerange/manual transmission. I like redfire fine, but the redfire color that my 97 is.

i used to own a redfire 05 mustang...and it really does look like that. i didnt really like it but it was all i could get at the time (for under $50k). i got a tungsten when the 06s came out though

I agree. If that's what it looks like then redfire is by far the ugliest color that a mustang comes in. Even worse than screaming yellow and pewter blue lol. They should bring back the old redfires. That color looked better than torch red.

i think there is a new red comming out in 07...like apple red or something?


i'm not too sure though, i am not keeping up-to-date on the new factory colors lol

like i said my neighbor has a redfire 05. and it is definatly a deeper color than the torchred. a noticable diffrence
