How is the standard stereo on the GT? I am not an audiophile, but I do like to play my music fairly loud and am not too worried about clarity. I was going to spring for the Shaker 500, but after seeing the doors with the extra speakers in them, I've decided that asthetics trump decibels

 

i first test drove a gt deluxe w/o the shaker and it sounded like pure crap. then i bought the premium after 2 weeks with that stereo i changed out all the speakers anyway...

however, the door subs are fairly decent so i kept those.

 

i specifically got the base stereo SO i could put my own in. its been two years now and its sitting in my room because the base stereo hasn't been bad enough to warrent me actually putting in the time.
