They should have included all 06 models or none. The only reason that didn't exclude 06 alltogether is because they know that no one is going to buy the 06's sitting on the lots when they can get an 07 with the 5 year warranty.

Sounds like to me that Ford Motor Company is going to have a class action law suit on their hands in the near future !!!!!
I myself am PISSED OFF! I have sent many nasty Emails to Ford and tried to call their customer service lines.

I think it's pretty lame as well. I got my car May 31st and paid the extra $900 for the 5 year warranty that those cars now get. I got screwed by 3 weeks missing the 4k off Family Plan pricing (fine, it sucked but ah well) but to get boned on this as well... Lame.

I bought my 2005 from a Ford dealership with 15,000 miles and was given the option for a 5 year/75,000 mile warranty. It's the reason I didn't buy my car brand new and won't mod anything that would void it.

I can confirm that they are giving the 5 yr 60k mile warranty on the 2006 GT. I just bought mine yesterday and they gave me this powertrain warranty. I didn't even ask, they just told me they were giving it to me. It was a very nice suprise.
