Default JBA Shorty Headers

I know there is a lot of opinions about not getting shorty headers, but it seems like JBA makes a good shorty header. Does anyone have these installed on their car? Also what is your opinion about them if you do have them on. I have read plenty of people stating that you will only see power gains with the long tubes, but I don't want to worry about relocating the cats at the same time. If I remember right, they claim like 18hp with the shorty headers.

Default RE: JBA Shorty Headers

The gains that JBA claims with those headers are because of a CAI and tune with that header. No real gains from the headers. Its a nice looking piece but the stock manifolds are designed so well that gains with shorties are minimum. If your worried about relocating the cats cuz of emissions the just don't get LTs until you get to a state with no emissions laws. But honestly I'm willing to bet that most places wouldn't either know or care if you relocated your cats as long as you have them.
