Roush hood scoop install..?? PLEASE HELP..!!!

To be honest, I don't really think that a hood scoop is necessary with simple cosmetic purposes. I mean, I thought I was going to have to get a whole new engine, with a cold air filter and such, but then I found out you don't even need to....and to be honest, I'm a bit disappointed. It's like carrying around a chain wallet while you already have a regular leather wallet in your back pocket...sure, it's flashy, but what's the point?

i'll try to add some validity to this resurrection.........does anyone know the correct torque for the mounting bolts? i'm gonna try to fix my "front gap" later. thanks!

If I remember correctly it is 11 lb/in (not ft) so very light.

Harraid...be extra careful with torquing the bolts...they are very, very flimsy...I did not torque mine...to any specs....I tighten them until I felt them snug...3 yrs later at different speeds and I've had absolutely no issues...

yeah, i installed mine with no problems over a year ago. i'm having some lifting in places after a body shop reinstalled mine following a hood repaint. i'm guessing that they over torqued the bolts. do you suggest locktite since we're not tightening them much?

I did not use locktite either, but in this case, it wont hurt.
