I am thinking about getting a Roush hood scoop

and was wondering how hard it is to install..??

is it just 3m tape, align the the scoop and you are ready to go..??

Why I ask .. is I seen a pic of one on EBAY and it looked like it

came with some bolts/nuts...??? is that just for the fake air damn you can't see when it is on

the car...????

ALSO: anybody had problems with them..?? coming off..?? etc. ..???

it does have some 3m tape, but you do have to drill seven holes in your hood! it was a little scary but it came with a template that made it a piece of cake. since it's bolted on it makes me rest a little easier, because i travel through some harsh winds at high speeds but i think these scoops look sweet on the stangs!

I guess the best question is do you have to drill holes in the hood..??

or is it just 3M tape holding it on...??

yea that's crazy! yea i like my scoop a lot. i just wish it would stop raining here so i could clean her up to post some pictures, it never rains in the desert untill i start workin on my car wtf?[:@]

i wouldn't trust it just taped on.

i have it.

A local body shop painted and installed it for 100 bucks.

I called my local body shop today and they WANTED $175.00 to just paint it...!!!!

yes 175 bucks to paint.. no install..

what is up with that...???

maybe I need to change body shops... eh..!!!

whatever u do get it put on good, i have seen some that look absolutely terrible

i ordered mine direct from roush painted and all it was $270 after shipping and it was pretty easy to install it right, the biggest problem for me was getting all those damn fasteners out to remove the insulation under the hood!
