Default Bodyshop Question

http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/1043/dscn0093rn8.jpg

I'm taking my car into the dealership for some body work and have a question. When is the service paid for? I don't get paid untill late tonight, do you think I can coodnate this with them? Really I just want to know if they expect a downpayment or if they just do the work and then give you a bill.

you make the payment when you take your car back.
make sure you pay attention to everything they put on the estimate.
your car is their guarantee that you're gonna pay. [sm=exactly.gif]

I take my car to Dent Devil for things like that! (All to often I might add - dayum careless socker moms in their SUV's!).

He always tells me up front what he wants to fix the dent... we agree.... I leave the car... he fixes and calls me... I pay when I pick up my car!

Afterall... they HAVE your car!

If you don't pay.. they KEEP your car!

Any repair shop that wants up front money is probably going to scam you, They probably plan on increasing the price tag and want to insure they have some of your money in case you get mad and try to not pay!

GO paintless dent removal on that.

It will save you some cash and if the guy knows his job you will never know it was ever there.

PDR for sure i work in a bodyshop, just check the spot real good after they are done cause sometimes not very often but sometimes the paint will crack look REAL close, your car looks like satin silver if thats the case the color is a damn good match at least in standox so u should be fine either way good luck.
