93 Octane Tune?
I see a lot of you guys have a 93 octane tune and rave about the improvements. My question is, does this mean you have to use 93 octane fuel? If so, where the hell do you guys buy it? All the gas stations around here only carry 91 octane fuel. Thanks in advance.
Yes it does mean you HAVE to use 93 octane.. and where I live, in Florida, every single gas station has 93 octane.. even the ones in Hickville... it must be something to do with state emissions or something. If you dont have 93 octane gas just tell the person that tunes your car and they can tune it for the highest octane available to you.
Ahhh...someone is from the west. Neither 85 or 91 Octane is available in the Eastern USA we have 87, 89, and 93 octane.
Both SCT and Diablo have tunes for 87, 91, and 93 octane, so you're covered no matter where you live.

Just curious? I am using the Diablo 87 tune right now, and I get some knocking when I accelerate. Has any one had this problem? Do you think if I use 89 and the 87 tune that it will stop the knocking?
