vibrations
hi guys, i own a 2006 GT (completely stock) with auto tranny and 3 months ago i had an accident which damaged my radiator & front suspension, . The car was perfect before the accident but now i'm getting a lot of rattles and vibrations. First, i got this popping sound from front suspension when i' turning. Then, i got this vibration and sound when i'm turning (i've read a lot and this problem seems to be the clutch packs). and today i noticed i have this very light vibration at around 1200 rpm's that makes the whole car resonate (like a droning exhaust). as i said, i've rad a lot and know that i need to change my clutch packs and also check bushings to solve the popping issue. my question is, if i don't adress this vibrations right away, will it hurt my car in the long run??
i am planning on getting some borla stingers axleback and i thought it made no sense to fix the drone if i'm going to get borlas. but then i thought that maybe this vibration might not be coming from the exhaust. any ideas?? motor mounts? tranny mounts??
are the moaning clutch packs hurting my car?? cause i can just put some music and forget about the noises if it is not a critical problem.
thanks a lot guys, i have found a lot of great info here, hope you can help me with these. thanks.
