Default Anybody install interior trim kits, dash kits etc...

The GT's interior looks pretty plain and plasticky (if that's a word). I was wondering if anyone installed ANY type of interior trim?

What's a good brand to use and is it hard to intall it yourself...is it worth it in the long run or will it just peel off???

Thanks!!

2007 GT Coupe on the way(September)...I'm already buying parts with no car...pretty pathetic!!!

I installed vthe light burl wood kit and it wasnt to hard to istall. I did notice that it stuck better by taking the 3M paper off before heating the kit. It made the glue stick better, you must also really wipe the istall area with alcohol to get the old armorall off or the glue wont grab. Here are my results. The kit was pretty cheap as well $110 + $17 for shipping on ebay and there are a variety of colors. I will post the sight if youd like.

I think it looks great. Are you talking about the interior upgrade package of the stock one? I have the IUP and I must say that I love it.

I kinda like that look, really makes the car look sharp. It's crazy how we can all have the car to start out with and then add our own personal touches and make each one look completely different from the next. i.e. Performance and styling inside and out.

But the red steering wheel cover needs to go.....[sm=icon_beat.gif]

I know the steering cover has got to go. But at the time I was contemplating on the red carbon fiber kit to match the exterior.

Dam that's a sexy car. I love the color combo especially the off colored beige/tan stripes that really looks classy !!!

I installed the double-brushed aluminum dash kit from nycdashes.com:
