but just make sure that NOWHERE on his car does it say "Fairlady"... cuz then it'll be kind of depressing for you

 

I have an 05 Manual GT. (stock). Raced a 350z a few times. Don't know what model it was... but it was a beautiful car. This was on the streets, so we ended up slowing to 10mph then punch up to about 70 (traffic)... GT pulled him hard. Then we got through the traffic, slowed to about 30... and went up to about 90... GT pulled him again (but not as hard this time).

We stopped and admired each others rides. He had a CAI, and some suspension mods...nothing serious motor-wise.

In a stright line.. the GT takes the 350z by a sizable margin (I'm sure I really benefitted from a rolling start cause I didn't have hook up problems).

On a curvy road, put my money on the Z.
