Actually, you can thank SUVs and new crash regulations for the high hood, trunk, and belt lines on the latest cars.

I agree. These cars were definetely made for men. I am 5'4" and my issue is not so much the height but length. Our stang is a 5 spd. so I have scoot the seat way foward in order to be able to push the clutch all the way in. My knees are almost touching the dash. I bet I look like a goob driving it. If I were to have a wreck that air bag would really hurt. But I do not plan on having any wrecks.

In the event of an airbag deployment, you would be ok (well, depending on the severity of the impact). The computer senses the seat position and weight in the seat and adjusts the force of the airbag accordingly.

I'm thinking with a 500HP hyabusa turbo engine, that might be a fun daily driver...

You could put a roll cage on the outside, so all you would have to do is tip it back over and keep going...

I noticed it too, but i like it....i dont have a problem with my arm out the window, but i'm 6'3". now the Solstice/Sky are worse, but then again, couldnt get past the fact that the steering wheel couldnt go up any farther then my knee's. but my stang fits me like a glove, and i love it

i know what you mean....i'm a tall driver and putting
the elbow out the window just isn't comfortable in these
new stangs.....at least there is more headroom and i'm
not complaining aboot that.
