Has anyone noticed
How alot of the newer cars including Mustangs have very wide (top to bottom) doors/sides and seemingly shorter tops. When you sit in one it seems the door comes up nearly level to your shoulder like you are really wrapped in metal.
There's a couple others I've seen on the road but don't know what the brand car it is.
Can you name or show a photo of what I mean?

I think I know what youre saying.. I have a hard time putting my elbow on the window because its half way up my chest..

This car is alot different than most cars that are designed for visibility. You really do feel like the car is wrapped around you.

my friend complains about that in my car but I don't have a problem with it.

Mustang (thankfully) has always been a car that is kind to the tall... (I think it is Mr. Shinoda that we can blame/thank for that on the "front fender should come up to your belt" school of auto design... forgive me if I attributed that to the wrong guy, but it is the reason mustangs were and are shaped the way they are...)
I did notice the default position of the seat made me feel pretty short... but a few button presses later and I am as cool as I am going to get...
For those of us who have to make strange noises and hyper-extend our knees to get in anything made overseas or by GM - this is a good thing...

I Think you are talking about the Chrysler 300M and the Dodge Magnum that was the first thing I noticed about those two cars. The sides are quite high and the glass - roofline is very short.
