Dead Battery
I own a 2006 Mustang GT which stays in the garage (I drive it every couple of weeks to keep the battery from dying) ... well today, wouldn't you know it, the battery was completely dead. Never had an issue for 9 months! I've read some posts on this and it seems that some of you have recieved a new battery from the dealer. How many times does this have to happen before they'll replace the battery? (I'm positive nothing was left on to cause the battery to drain completely .. I couldn't even unlock the doors with the remote!) How do you close the door without damaging the window or weather stripping when the window no longer drops because of the battery issue? I'd appreciate any input you might have on this subject! Thanks.
Hello,
I am having the same problem too. I just posted my problem which is similar to yours. If you store the car and it is garaged or has a car cover just leave the window down on each side just a hair until the problem is fixed. If i get a response to my post I will write you back! Thanks

i think you can just open it even with the window up.
the window goes down when you pull the door handle, i've noticed that i've some times beat the window down if im in a rush it makes twang nose as the glass brushes the plastic.<i tend to be more carefull now>
i'm assuming if you arn't doing it everyday it shouldn't be a problem.
but please note im not a real doctor i only play one on the internet

someone here, determined through testing, that every once in
a while, the shaker will stay on after you shut the car off and will
draw current (up to 2 amps).
-
the best thing you can do, is always make sure you shut off
the shaker, before turning the ignition switch off.
