Yea I could use a shot of tequila actually just give me a bottle of Crown, and a drive in my car....not necessarily in that order [sm=alcoholic.gif]

But yea for me that gas pedal trick did the job !

bl1nkage, I think he was refering to himself as a newbe, not you. Take it easy.
I read it the same way....calling himself a newbie. I don't at all think he was bashing you bl1nkage.

Yeah it just looked like it to me, if he wasnt then Im sure hell just brush it off, I didnt mean anything personal by it just Im tired of new people coming in and then asking for opinions or advice and then getting angry or pissy when we give it to them. SO yeah I took my drive.. it was awesome. Nothing like driving through the backraods of apk after a bad day! Gotta love the exhaust/blaring music combo...

Was refering to myself as the FNG as others have pointed out. Didn't mean to come off as banging on anyone.

I did try the magic throttle trick as outlined in the link I gave but didn't feel any difference. May have done it wrong though. I'll try again.
If I can't get it to where I'm comfortable I'll take your advice Bl1nkage and go with the tune. Thanks

No prob, anothing thing that you can try is unplug your battery for about 10 mins then plug it back in and retry the throttle thing. Unplugging the battery will reset the computer and doing the throttle thing will recalibrate it.

Think I'll try the battery disconnect and try again. This really is the only complaint I have. Otherwise it's a great car.
Thanks again.

Newbie for you. Just found the thread on that cheater "turn the ignition on, wait for the dash lights to turn off, press the accel to the floor, release, presto, chango, no more lag". Well...at least less lag. Mine seems to have alot.

Can't help but wonder what this motor would be like with my foot hooked directly to the throttlebody and no comupter in between! I think the computer is more worried about the warrenty than I am!
