Installed a JVC KW-AVX706 Double Din DVD/LCD with IPOD adapter today in my 2006 GT. Looks awesome in the dash. Only payed $500 for the unit from shipdog, Crutchfield wanted $800 (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-HwdBSDl...50&I=257AVX706).

Sounds much better than Shaker 500, even with stock speakers. I am going to take some pics tommorow for anyone that may be interested. Very good buy so far.

Did you install a 5v regulator in the amp trigger line? If you did not, you need one or you will get a pop from the factory amps when you turn it on. You get it at Radio Shack for $1.59. Click Here

 

Boy you guys are brutal. Yeah musicCity I installed a regulator. I was amazed how easily the dash and center console come apart. The only time intensive part was soldering/shrinking the harness.
