I was joking of course, that era was pretty miserable for all makes as far as performance goes. Whenever they played that stupid "Mustang two, boredom zero!" commercial I always thought: "Hmmmmm, doesn't sound like the Mustang has much of a lead over boredom" Boredom was one field goal away from taking over

MustangII's were pathetic. I knew a guy that had a 78 cobra, what a joke, I beat em in my 1980 2.3 4cyl. But goddamn, those things were ugly as hell.

i thought ford advertised the 03-04 cobras as the fastest production stang, and then the new gt500 just took that honor....

saleen s281 extreme is def faster than The new cobra. Also I guess the GTR is going production too Because the one guy bought it so well see

what about the Shelby Super Snake? only 1 of 3 made was actually the "super" snake, if i remember correctly.... thought they were pretty quick. that would count as production, being as they were PRODUCED. they were pretty dang quick...
