I have spent the last 3 days talkin to ford. I have had my car in the shop once before the get the rar end clutch packs fixed. they messed it up and it is way worse than before. I also wanted to get a new fuel pump cause it will loose power on me in hard shifts and fast launches. The only mod i have made to this car wax the intallation of an o/r h pipe and mac mufflers. they didn't have any trouble doing warranty work the first time with the mods but now they noticed it and they are using it as an excuse not to work on the car...the dealership and ford said that because i made a modification doesn't matter what it is the whole warranty on the car is voided unless it is returned to original state then they will work on it. This is bull**** i am pressing on with a law suit.

 

They can't deny your entire warranty because of one mod. The only thing they can refuse to cover is the warranty on your exhaust. That's the law, you can find it on the SEMA website. I'd print it out and take it to the dealership. They're screwing you hard.

 

that's right, it's one thing if my engine blows up b/c of my s/c, but if the shaker 1000 craps out i'm pretty sure it's not do to the blower sitting on top of my engine

 

Tell them you want to go to arbitration, and will use Federal Law as your defene. I believe there is a sticky topic called "Your Warranty", it is VERY informative.

TAKE it to another dealership... and spread the word on the crappy dealership.

 

you need to find a lawyer who also happens to own a mustang. (do any lawyers drive Fords?)
