By the way, you can just tell them that's the price you're willing to pay. This late in the game i'd think they'd be more than willing to sell an 06 gt for xplan price or less.

So the 0% financing is regardless of credit history? I guess if they're desperate, but it seems hard to believe.

Not regardless of credit history. As with all credit deals, you gotta have good credit. I just happen to have excellent credit... just don't ask about the 9% APR on my current wheels... I should have pushed back harded about that but I didn't.

are you sure you can use xplan with 0% apr because it says may not be combined with other incentives....is xplan an incentive?

X-Plan is not considered an incentive as it is not technically open to everyone. They have something like $1500 off of the V6 right now as well. That could not be combined with the 0% APR.

You are incorrect, sir. Take another look at the deal. It excludes the Ford GT, not the Mustang GT. 0% financing for any number of months up to 72. No money down. Ends Sept 5th.
I stand corrected. I misread the fine print.

This just blows.

Everytime I buy a new car, within a couple months they offer some great deal that I would have benefited from, but I bought too soon.

You shouldn't finance through the dealer! Stick with one job, set up a direct deposit with a credit union and you'll never have to worry about the fat guy in the finance office again. Don't let them screw you out of the 0%, i'm sure they'll try.

If I had waited i'd probably be driving a 2006 GT in tungsten grey. Not my first or second choice so i'm glad I got the car I wanted and 4.5% through my bank was the best going at the time.

Next time wait till the end of the year and chew on the scraps!

Hey Guys

There's a simple way to get an X plan pin. All you need to do is buy a limited number of shares of Ford stock. Which by the way is only 8 bucks a share. Then contact investor relations and tell them you'd like to take advantage of special pricing offered to investors. They will fax you a form to fill out. All you need to do is provide a statement showing ownership of Ford stock and you've got a no questions asked method for obtaining a valid pin.

After you get your pin, just sell the stock and get on with your life....

You'll get taxed when you sell the stock though.
