After waiting over a month after I ordered the car, I finally have a VIN number. How much longer should it take till I get my car? My salesmen said that the person who's order is in front of mine allready got a assembly date and that I should have my car the week after labor day. Does that sound right?

Probably a couple weeks premature. From the time the VIN is created to the time it is at the dealer is usually about 4 weeks. Just be happy it is going that fast. I ordered mine on June 19th and the VIN was just created on 8-18 with a scheduled build date of Sept 4th. So yours went fast and you should have it 3-4 week of Sept.

Two of my brothers work for Ford and they say that now that I got a VIN number that they may be able to push ahead the assembly date.

It really depends on what priority the dealership got on your order. Priority 10's (the highest) are typically taking 5-8 weeks from order to delivery. Lower priorities can take 3-4 months!
