RE: 2007 Mustangs.....really hot
Are you listed as the primary driver?
For the original poster, I'd guess you'd be paying between $300-$400 per month depending on your parents policy. If you get in 2 or more accidents before you're 18 then you'll be lucky to get any insurance.

Well after me and my friends went to the movie, theres a FORD dealership right accross the street, so we went to it, and saw alot of Mustangs, just wanted to say that WOW those 2007 Mustangs are REALLY HOT, and really are not THAT expensive compared to some other Sports cars. I saw 1 2007, it still had the plastic bag seat cover on the seat, must have had like 5 miles on it, made my mouth drool, lol.......hopefully someday i can get a Mustang........im 16, and i was also wandering, how much insurance is for a person my age and driving a Mustang or sports car ingeneral

man when i was in germany when i got mine they told me like 395 euro a month which is like 450 a month and i was 19 with a clean driving record. but then again in germany they don't go by the type of car, they go by the engine liter size. anything above 4.2 liter they don't even ask cause they consider it more than needed for anything. trippy huh?

Yeah, I wanted an '82 GT when they first came out(I was 17). Then in late '85(when I was 20) I mustered enough
courage to visit a Ford dealer and saw a demo '85 GT(less than 500 miles on it) for $10,600....it was Red over Gray
with a sunroof, 5 speed and dealer added rear louvres. Payments with $1,500 down(on 12% interest) were I think around
$200.00 a month( a lot on a college student's budget). Insurance? Around $120/mo with a clean record and 4 year's
worth of insured driving. $320.00 was a tremendous amount of money in '85(minimum wage was $3.35/hr...I was making
$5.25/hr) With $250.00 rent and living expenses another $250.00 or so I only had about $200.00 left over at the end of each
month......meaning I could afford one, but not the other [&o]. Now? I'm 41, on my 2nd S197 Mustang(both GTs) and I paid
$452.50/mo for my former '05 and now $456.25/mo for the '06( with tons more options than '05) and my full coverage insurance
with a $500.00 deductible is Ta Da......$91.00 a month...so hate me.[sm=bangbang.gif]

My car right now is in my mom's name, and she is the "Primary Driver" Even though she hasn't even drove the car. But I'm only 17 and I got the car back in March, and Insurance is only 90 a month on my car.......and It's fully insured.

That is how you do it.. DON'T PUT THE CAR IN YOUR NAME...!!!
your Insurance will be so much cheaper.. trust me.. I am 43 years old and played the game back when I was 16 -25.. around 35 they give you a break.. turn 40 and you get a better break ..
JMO and only that...!!!
