Yeah, GaryFenza89... you gotta get your parents involved if you can. I was always under my dad's insurance up until my 25th birthday. I was finally able to get a nicer car at 25......but it wasn't until I turned 35, like rex7010 said, that the rates go waaayyy
down! Just get under your folks policy if you can and BE CAREFUL....you don't want to get your folks in trouble because you have
a leadfoot......go for a S197 V-6, plenty of scoot and has the LOOK. The GT will come to you eventually.....maybe 8-10 years....
besides it'll be a LOT SWEETER when you finally get one. I nearly bought a '93 Cobra when they first came out(I was 28)..but the
'94s were on their way in...so I waited..........didn't care too much for the SN95 style and the FOX body was starting to get old(to me at the time)...the New Edge cars were a lot better than the SN95s...nearly bought an '02 after 9/11 when all the manufacturers were
offering 0% for 60mo. So glad I waited for the S197....best looking Mustang since 1970(to me). Just picked up my 2nd S197 Monday
(couldn't resist 0% for 72mo!).....yes it's great to be an American(especially when you live in SoCal!). Hope you can get what you want, cheers![sm=icon_cheers.gif]

It Depends on were you live here in Tx you pay ALOT for insurance.. I have 3 cars and a house with the same insurance and I get a mulit car, home discount and I am 48 with and EXcellent driving record and I pay more for this new 07 Mustang than I do for my 06 Corvette
I pay like $900 for the Corvette and $1400 for the Stang... Reason? Well I was told that the younger kids can afford the Stangs but not the corvettes there for they feel the vette is not as big a risk... [&:]Humm wonder who came up with that? I mean the Vette is alot faster..

So which one do you prefer to be "seen" in? That 'Stang looks pretty sweet......the 'Vette...well......I'm not a post 1973 GM fan....
but I'll admit the C6 is the best looking 'Vette(especially the Z06) since the chrome bumpered Sting Rays (pre-73). Call me
Dirk Diggler(no, not for that reason-I wish!), but I like the '68-'82 'Vettes...but primarily the '68-'72 cars(427/454 big block of course!)
I'm saying 'vert 'Stang, 'cause you could've bought a 'Vette roadster and a coupe 'Stang, but you have a 'vert 'Stang! Thanks for
getting a real car(j/k)[sm=bling.gif]

Well after me and my friends went to the movie, theres a FORD dealership right accross the street, so we went to it, and saw alot of Mustangs, just wanted to say that WOW those 2007 Mustangs are REALLY HOT, and really are not THAT expensive compared to some other Sports cars. I saw 1 2007, it still had the plastic bag seat cover on the seat, must have had like 5 miles on it, made my mouth drool, lol.......hopefully someday i can get a Mustang........im 16, and i was also wandering, how much insurance is for a person my age and driving a Mustang or sports car ingeneral

260 a month for me.
Ahhh the benefit of getting old, I pay about $900.00 per year full coverage low deductable and through Prudential so top tier... unfortunately getting old has a downside... everything starts to hurt easier... I digress I pay less than 1k per year yaaaay!!!

get a quote for sure cause i was paying 390 per month for my 2001 gt in VA then i moved to NC and paying 110 a month for the gt. The GT got totalled and now payin only 124 a month for an 04 mach 1. your location plays a huge part in insurance rates.

What happens if you get in an accident and you're a part time driver? Just say that this part of the time you were driving it?

The first time probably nothing besides a rate increase, the second time they'll probably drop you.

I'm 18 and am at $2,200 a year, my price was significantly lower due to a good grades thing my insurance company (Liberty Mutual) runs. I saved over $1,000 having a B average, good grades saved me some money and a lot of time. I got that rate when I was 16 and have been at that since. I'm hoping I don't have to wait until i'm 21 for it to go down though.

Well 05GTdriver, I will tell you I get "looks" with both the cars But It really just depends on the day and were I am going. The Vette is a coupe soooo If I am going somewere that I will have to put the top back on and I am by myself, I will take the Stang but If I feel like going for a drive and its a pretty day and dont mind leaving the top off, I will take the Vette.. I dont konw if you have ever driven one of the C6 but let me tell ya, its a very smooth ride and lots of fun[sm=gears.gif] I got the Stang as my everyday driver, that was my first new car 79 mustang 5.0 and I just have always had a soft spot for them, I also had an 04 but this one I really just love. Anyway to anwser your question, Either one of them...
And thanks for the Coment..
