Hey I know you guys have probably been over this question I have a million times,but please help me lol I got a 04 lightning and the car dealer my father deals with made me a good offer for a 07 5 speed mustang gt.I know it wouldn't run with the lightning,but what does the new gt run in the 1/4? The only reason I am considering it is it's the new grabber orange .Thanks for the help guys god bless

 

brstrike, I dont know the exact number but Im pretty sure its in the low 13 sec range. 0-60 in 5.2 or so... these are not exact numbers but I think theyre pretty close. Hope that helps

 

without drag radials on the lightning, it is a close race. The stang looks way better too. Also, basic cheaper mods add good amounts of HP.

 

Get the GT. An average driver will get into high 13's, and you could theoretically get into low 13's stock and with some good driving.

Better mileage, better looks, similar performance. Win-win imho.

 

right! with just a CAI, under drive pulley, rear gears and a tune you'll be at 5 sec and just over 13 sec in the 1/4 mile
