Now let me ask you all something. I know mustangs had spinners on hubcaps simulating a knockoff rim (a simiulation of something like the real knockoff/spinner commonly used in mid year corvettes). The corvette knockoff/spinner (as with those used in racing) was used to hold the rim on just as lug nuts do. Having both on the same rim doesn't make logical sense to me and I don't recall ever seeing this on any 60's mustangs. They do look kinda nice but seeing lugs and a spinner on the same rim just looks "incorrect". I don't mean to be critical just thinking this is not technically right and was not a look that mustangs had. ...far as I know.

They had spinners on hub caps, but since I can't find hubs for my 18" rims, I'll just settle for the spinners on the wheel ;-)

funny... as I said they do look pretty cool. I just have to look at them and not see the lugs; difficult for my eyes to do that. 99% of folks won't have my problem. :-)

Notice he said this is his last exterior retro mod, so after 5 pages, we can rule out all the exterior suggestions of what it would be.
