Default Tell Me Which Rim Looks the Classiest.

I have a lot of G-35's and Bimmers running around here, and I'm in no mood to be out styled by them any time soon at a stoplight. Now I don't want to invest 10k and turn my car into a serious street rod, but I am interested in making it look good, and "hot".

Here's the thing though, I want to stay as far as possible, from the "gheto" look, of 12 inch chrome rims from walmart. More chrome doesn't make you look cool, it just makes your budget car look more like a tool owns it. I'm also trying to stay as far away from the "Driving *****" rims as possible.

I'm shooting for at least 19 inches, 20 inches max. Idealy I'd say 19 inches would work best even though they are sometimes hard to find.

Also Idealy I am going for a look that's close to this:

Unfortunatly I can't seem to find these 9 spoke Chrome rims, and in addition to that, they seem to be 20 inches instead of my ideal 19"

Anyway here are the contenders, which I have photoshoped onto my car:

TIS 07 20" Rims, decent but look a bit too gheto.

19" ASA AR-1 Rims, I've heard many people being very satisfied with these, they seem to make my car look a little too much like the batmobile though.

20" Saleen Silver Rims, downside to these, are the price tag, and the fact they are a little too large for ride comfort. These are the ones to beat.

19" AzA Z-6 Rims, they look pretty good, I like them.

I place asthetics above all else, so I am just trying to pick the best rim. My ideal concept is getting as close to the original Mustang Concept, as possible.

I'm very open to imput and suggdestions, so feel free to provide any or recommend a rim, Thanks.

Agreed, I really dont like the tiny spoke rims, especially on our stangs. If I had to choose one it would have to be the 2nd to last though.

Some do some don't, I'm not one to be dictating what looks good, but I know I'm not a fan of the hotrod look.

Multi spokes help shy away from that.

Do you mean the muscle car look, because that's what these Mustangs are all about? In that case go buy yourself an STi or an Evo.

IMHO all of those are dispicable. have you looked at the cervinis rims? they are similar to what you are looking at but a lot more apropriate for the car

also, you may want to reconsider your 19" rim choice, your tire selection will be very limited and you will pay significantly more for a 19 tire then you would an 18 or 20

btw, how come you bout a stang if you dont like the hot rod look??

Surely you underestimate the power of "driving *****" rims...

Nope Muscle car is the brand of cars everyone tries to attatch to the name "Mustang", just because it's called that, when really it's a branding scheme.

Everyone knows European Styling is the base. Just look at the new Dodge Charger. It's an E-Class Benz under the body.

Ford Made a Nice Concept car.

This baby here, now I happen to be a big fan of cars like that. Reason why I bought it.

Saleen Mustang

and this baby, but if you're still not convinced of the European influences just take a look at the Koenigsegg vs the Saleen S7. (While Saleen may be 0% Ford, it's 100% American)

koenigsegg

Saleen S7

Same thing, with a dose of American Badass.

The Mustang ALREADY has the badass component, now all it needs is a touch less redneck trucker, and a touch more EU.

That's called looking good, and getting the whole package to give off a vibe of not being retarded in the process. Isn't easy.
