I finally used that Turtle Ice polish that so many have suggested in this forum. I had some streaks left over from my NuFinish that I used to use. After using the Turtle Ice, it took all the streaks out and the car looked amazing! I'm now a fan of this stuff, it works awesome even though its a bit pricey at 16 bucks a bottle.

OK, I washed it in Z7 a couple times, and dried it. Then went over it with Z6. I believe most of the streaks are gone. The hook seems to be causing problems. Heat related? I'll get a better look in the daylight tomorrow. I guess I'll use the Ice that I bought and never used if it's not as good as I think it is right now.

Thanks for the input guys, I appreciate it.

Try a microfiber towel....works magic! I had this same problem and this solved it.
+1. I loves my microfiber cloths.

I will definitely use one if I have to use the ice. I don't think Zaino recomends using microfibers on their products. " I believe their home page says "the jury is still out".

I'm starting to think Zaino is not worth all of the steps, and time.

Is it too much to ask to wash, dry, apply one product and then remove it?

I stopped using Zaino quit awhile back. Wasn't worth the $$ or time to me. Right now I use Meguiars NXT and even tried the new Turtle Wax Ice. I really like Meguiars.

Try out Poorboys World and ClearKote products for ease of use, quality, and price. You will get excellent results with both and they can also be put on in the direct sunlight.

Oh by the way, another vote for using microfibers. That is all I use. I go through about 50-75 a week!

in the future, all you have to do is wash your car with some good quality dish soap, removes all wax. even after its has dryed on. only thing is you must re-wax as soon as its dry because it will remove ALL wax even stuff you put on before.

So if I still have streak tomorrow, I can use the Dawn again and the re-wax with Ice or NXT? Thanks for the info!
