Gas pedal trick problem?

RE: Gas pedal trick problem?
I did it three times in a row, steadily pressing down the gas pedal.
I'll try and do it again.

Not sure, all I can think of is to redue it...mayber 3 times in a row.
What procedure did you use?

Why would you do that with the brake pedal? you are supose to do the gas pedal. Also you need to take about 3 seconds to full and then 3 seconds to off. Also make sure you never touch the pedal when the key is on unless you are doing the calibration.

What's all this brake pedal talk? You guys are so helpful.
At any rate I did it the first time by slowing pressing it down taking 3 seconds each way, but it's hard to steadily press the pedal for 3 seconds. The last time I did it quickly and it seemed better.

Anyway to the others who are asking again. you can recalibrate the Throttle servo and it helps a little bit with the throttle lag. Get in the car and put the key in the ignition, then turn the key to the On position DO NOT start the car. Once you turn the key to the on position wait until the dinger stops and some of the warning lights go out. Then slowly about 3 seconds push the gas pedal to the floor and the release it also taking 3 seconds. Then tunr the key off and wait for about 15 seconds and then repeat the same procedure 3 more times.

I did the gas pedal trick and it made a world of difference. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold it for more than a day or so, and then, back to the 6 cylinder feeling GT. Such as life I suppose.
