Default RE: Gas pedal trick problem?

Definately works for me, but, when I release the pedal after the 3 second push down, I have always quickly released the gas pedal. I have never had to do this more than once for it to take effect....

Kind of hard to undersatand...

Are you saying, to slowly press the pedal down and hold for seconds, then release for 3 seconds and then back down

or

Press it down slowly, taking 3 seconds to get from released to fully depressed, then do the same from depressed to released?

What's all this brake pedal talk? You guys are so helpful.

At any rate I did it the first time by slowing pressing it down taking 3 seconds each way, but it's hard to steadily press the pedal for 3 seconds. The last time I did it quickly and it seemed better.
Ahahah you a funny guy. Problem is i have you qouted. Good Try though. I give you a A for effort.

Anyway to the others who are asking again. you can recalibrate the Throttle servo and it helps a little bit with the throttle lag. Get in the car and put the key in the ignition, then turn the key to the On position DO NOT start the car. Once you turn the key to the on position wait until the dinger stops and some of the warning lights go out. Then slowly about 3 seconds push the gas pedal to the floor and the release it also taking 3 seconds. Then tunr the key off and wait for about 15 seconds and then repeat the same procedure 3 more times.

I have always depressed the gas pedal in a smooth push over about three seconds, all the way to the floor, then just released the gas pedal abruptly.....
